Genetics question - Punnet Squares?

Ok.. so the question asks:

A hydrid pink snapdragon was crossed with a pure white one. Red flower color is incompletely dominant. Make a diagram to show:

a. the gene constitution of the parents.

b. genotypic and phenotypic ratios of the F1 generation.

Thx if u can help me out with this. =]

Genetics question - Punnet Squares?
RR' x R'R'

RR' RR' R'R' R'R'
Reply:As Lee said, the genotypes can be written "rw" (pink phenotype) and "ww"(white phenotype). The pure red phenotype (not in here) would have genotype "rr". "rw" genotype is the same as "wr", which give the pink phenotype.

Make a square, divide lengthwise and crosswise into the four boxes. On the upper edge, write "r" over the first column and "w" over the second. On the left edge, write "w" next to each row. In each box, representing the possible offspring, copy one letter from the column and the other letter from the row. Everything else is easy from there on.
